Might need to be repaired as all tapes I've run through it have eventually broken. The guide the
tape goes across after passing over the head gets gunked up with magnetic powder from the tape and at some point the tape sticks to this powder and it breaks. Seems like it's getting hot but oxide powder accumulates and eventually the tape sticks to the guide. These tapes are pretty old and have been badly stored. |
