Does it get any more twisted than this?

We have a Studer Vista.just two years old.

This "we" would be his employer, not Iain himself.

We refers to the team of which I am a member, and the
company of which I am a director. As with most recording
crews, the equipment inventory is far too large and
valuable to be owned by any one individual.

Thanks Iain for admitting that holding this overpriced, oversized toy over
my head is irrelevant, because I'm just an individual.

Hmmm.... This is quite a tortured mess, even acknowledging the Kroologic
factor. On the one hand, you complain that Iain's Vista actually belongs to
his "employer". Then, when he explains the ownership, you complain that it's
too expensive for you to purchase, while gratuitously imputing a desire to
humiliate you to Iain.

Do you find it peculiar that everybody (except you, of course) thinks you're
a sick, twisted ****?
