I stopped in to look at some of the Toyota pickups today. The Toyota
people totally ignored my advice, such as, use a 9" or Dana 60 rear end
instead of a Toyota design with no aftermarket parts, make the dash
aftermarket friendly, use standard air and oil filters like a FL-1A that's
3.25 and not 11.99 at Wally's, etc.

They sell, but not like they could.

Audio is the same way. Instead of using proven designs they insist on
designing their own, even though they can't.

You know, if I was a Toyota salesman and some whiny little dweeb came
in and bitched about the fact that the Toyota factory in Japan didn't
take his advice about the dashboard, air filters, oil filters and rear
end, I kick his ****ing ass all over the lot. I might lose my job, but
I'd be making the world a better place.
