I'm worried that if bikes were coming down outside your window from the
sky like falling rain then were they being ridden at any time while
having become airborne to be able then to rain down? was the rider
arrested on his descent by some interface with a tall lamp post not
included in your photo? he probably needs some help now.

Meanwhile some of us cannot get airborne by pedal power, although the
kids round here seem to do it OK at their bmx jump venues dotted around
our town. But there was one guy whose pedals were chain coupled to a
propeller, and he managed to nearly duplicate the efforts of the Wright
Bros in 1903. One has to be a superb athlete though.

Meanwhile financiers and polititians seem to have no trouble becoming
airborne by means of becoming full of hot air and waving their arms
wildly while pointing to charts and graphs. But they run into "market
glitches" while airborne, and 500 billion dollar attempts are now being
made in the US to ensure they get a softer landing than the bicycle in
your picture.
