Default Which Sample Software to buy?

Pro musician here, I'm relatively new to digital recording, having
spent the last 10 years or so doing only MIDI arranging. Digital
Performer, iMac. I'm trying to decide which sample software to
purchase. I'm considering either Kontakt or Quantum Leap Goliath.
Issues - ease of learning interface and how it interacts with DP,
ability to catalog sounds to find them easily. There may be other
software I should know about as well, I just don't know enough about
this to even know what to ask.

I would appreciate some guidance and insight.

Thanks
