Default Sonar can't find Kontakt 3 in my synth Rack only Kontakt 2?

I use windows XP SP2

Normally Sonar 7 finds all VSTIs' and automatically makes them
available in the synth Rack. Ever since I had to wipe my hard drive
and reload all my software I have only been able to get Kontakt 2 to
be accesable to play as a soft synth. Kontakt 3 doesn't show up. Has
anybody else had this bug? Maybe Kontakt 3 upgrade puts the
connecting file in a sub directory that Sonar doesn't expect it to be
in. Of course I don't even know what file or files are used. I know
how to copy the .dll files to get the program Finale to see them so I
thought it might be the same principle.

Can anybody help? The folks that make Kontakt no longer have phone
support and I searched the FAQ info at Native Instruments but either I
couldn't figure out what to search for or they have no data on this
subject.

Thanks for any suggestions.
