If you could bend time like Hiro does on the TV show "Heroes", which
mistake would you go back in time to correct?

1. Attacking Persia and other nations in the Middle East very early in
our nation's history to reduce the influence of Islam's "different
POV" and to insure a steady supply of oil to the US.

2. Attacking Russia very early on to thwart the awful spread of
Communism and Communism's "different POV".

3. Continuing the attack on Mexico in order to make all of Mexico a
part of the United States, stopping the influx of of dreaded illegal
immigrants before it started, and perhaps not stopping until the
southernmost regions of South America were conquered. This would also
head off Hugo Chavez, even though Chavez simply has a "different POV".

4. Attacking Cuba and other nations like Nicaragua vigorously so as to
fulfill "Manifest Destiny" and head off Castro and his "different
POV".

5. Attacking Great Britain/Canada early on to head off Canada's
dreaded health-care system and opening her natural resources to
exploitation by American companies, simultaneously smashing all
resistance in Quebec and crushing their "different POV".

6. Reinforcing Confederate attacks to insure her victory and heading
off Affirmative Action and other equally-disruptive laws, thwarting
the development of the "different POV" of Black Americans as well as
liberal political parties.

7. Attacking China and North Korea in order to head off these rogue
nations and their attacks on the American Way of Life and removing
their "different POV".

8. Continuing attacks on Native Americans to obliterate them and head
off their "abusing" the system with their "immoral" casinos.
Alternatively, placing them in "reservations" until they comply with
Western culture and get rid of their "different POV". After all, we
"won".

9. Staying in force in Germany and France at the conclusion of World
War II, which would allow us to force them to bend to our "different
POV" with regards to ROE in the alleged "Global War on Terror" and
give us a strategic base we could launch attacks on other European
contries from.

10. Attack Africa, just because we could.
