Hi all,
A friend of mine has asked for advice for picking out an audio interface. The requirements are as follows: Good audio quality Two or more microphone inputs At least two, preferably four analog inputs MIDI Solid drivers Easy to use Price approximately $300 or less. She has received the following suggestions, but if there is a better choice not on the list, that is OK too. The initial list: Echo AudioFire4 Presonus Firebox Edirol FA-101 Focusrite Saffire LE I have previous experience with Echo products, and would feel comfortable recommending the AudioFire4. But I have limited or no experience with the others. Your comments are appreciated. To Arny Krueger: given your background testing audio interfaces, your input will be considered especially valuable. If there are others here with similar experience, I would very much appreciate your input too. Thank you in advance to all for comments and thoughts, Dean |
