I'm watching the Director's Cut DVD of Live at Pompeii and have noticed
something a little odd. This film was allegedly made in 1972. Why then are the words 'Shine On' clearly scrawled across the Abbey Road NW8 road sign (incidentally just 200 yards away from my apartment) at the end of Echoes Part I? Considering that WYWH was not due for another 3 years, is this: - an uncanny coincidence - the basis for the WYWH song - proof that time travel is possible Thanks, Schiz |

The film also includes studio footage from the DSOTM sessions, while the songs were still in fairly primitive stages. I would guess that Pink Floyd was one of those bands who would develop songs over a period of years before releasing them. Or, someone in the band just liked the phrase. Doesn't seem that mysterious to me. Boon |
