Well! It looks promising indeed! An 10 GHz IBM Microdrive, a good
battery power supply and there you go with the normal 48/16 wave
format for hours... I thing it's a deal.

Recently I was attending a Zagreb Solists strings concert; I have been
hearing closely to the instruments. First I thought "such things I'd
record analog only" -- a friend of mine recorded that with a
permission using a Sony MD and its stereo mike; haven't heard that
yet but I think the violins remained, ---well saying on German,
"Schweissbrenner"-- sounding on the MD. Well that's an acetilene torch
sound )
