i have a tascam 48 reel to reel.
its recording fine. but lately when i playback
the sound fades (needles drop)
very low after a few minutes.
i clean the heads religiously and have
just demagnetized them for the first time
(following the instructions closely).
the machine has also been calibrated
and re-biased recently.
does anyone have any ideas?
