Default FS: Benz Lukaschek PP-1 Phono Pre-Amp

This is the older version (IMHO, this sounds more musical than the new
one, which sounded a little too analitical when I tried it with my
Glider) excellent condition, recently checked by dealer.
Asking $750.00 shipped in US.
Pictures available on request.
The following is the manufacturer's description:
"The Lukaschek PP-1 Phono Stage is a high quality phono pre-amplifier,
۬designed without compromise, for use with moving coil cartridges. Its
۬high gain/low noise circuitry and precise RIAA equalization allow the
۬PP-1 to be connected to any line level input of any pre-amplifier.
۬Also, the PP-1 can be connected directly to a power amplifier with
gain ۬controls or through a high quality 10K ohm potentiometer, i.e.,
through ۬a quality passive pre-amp.
The power supply of the PP-1 is based on a silicon bridge rectifier
۬followed by 10 paralleled load capacitors. These capacitors then feed
۬the electronic stabilization and regulation circuitry for each channel
۬and each individual amplification stage. Through this topology,
۬crosstalk is completely eliminated. Additionally, the entire power
۬supply is situated in the PP-1 chassis to ensure instantaneous
response ۬to the demands of the incoming audio signal. The required DC
voltage is ۬fed by an umbilical cord from a reliable, external 24V/9vA
power ۬transformer box with prongs which plug directly into the AC
mains ۬outlet.
To protect loudspeakers and the rest of the audio system from switch-on
۬surges, the PP-1 incorporates an efficient muting circuit: internal
۬relays keep the outputs shorted for as long as it takes the circuit to
۬stabilize the supply voltage. This protection feature is designed to
be ۬completely separate from the audio signal path. A built-in LED
flashes ۬while the circuit is stabilizing and is lit continuously when
the unit ۬is ready to operate.
Each input channel has independent amplification stages, which operate
۬as non-inverting 2-stage negative feedback amplifiers. The available
۬gain is set at 40dB, and the upper frequency limit is set at
۬650kHz/-3dB. In order to minimize the influence of interconnect cables
۬on the resulting sound, the input impedance is set to 22K ohms. A 10
Hz ۬sub-sonic filter operates between the input stage and the RIAA
۬equalizer.
RIAA equalization is realized through an inverting 2-stage amplifier of
۬ultra high accuracy (+0/-.5dB within the RIAA standard). The available
۬gain is 22dB/1kHz and has an extended high frequency roll-off. This
۬section of the PP-1 connects directly to the output of the unit.
By using only 2 transistors in each amplification stage, perfect
۬stability and fast transient response is achieved. This insures the
۬high degree of transparency and accuracy realized by the PP-1.
۬Double-sided glass epoxy, CAD designed circuit boards have been
۬employed to guarantee the shortest possible signal paths. Low noise
۬matched bipolar transistors are coupled with quality metal film
۬resistors with 1% tolerance. Within the RIAA network itself, only 1%
۬polystyrene capacitors have been used while long life tantalum
۬capacitors serve for coupling functions.
To achieve the best possible performance from the PP-1, use only
۬quality moving coil cartridges such as our BENZ MC RUBY."
