I tried to add my own Apple Loops to Logic Pro for a few weeks by now
- this is a total disaster. Whenever I drag AIFFs over the Loop Browser, after it indexes them, they either appear on its list of available files, or not. It takes a lot of mousing around to find out if the last loop did, since there is no telling in which of the 100+ categories it'll be put in. I was only looking for a way to have loops of various tempos and tunes play back automatically in tempo and tune with the rest of my Logic song as I trigger them for practice or recording. What would be the simplest and most elegant alternative (maybe Reason or Ableton via ReWire? Or some AudioUnit plugin?) to achieve this instead of the Loop Browser? |
