[oatmeal]

So, I've got a choice to make between 2 12" speakers. I can either get polk
audio or mtx. Which one is better? I really dont know anything about
speakers, so this is going to be on the most basic of levels. Better
quality, better sound, longer lasting. Any advice will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!

It would really depend on which model you are looking at. I'd say the
MTX 7500 and up subs are great, IMO. I have a 7500 12" in my mustang,
and it works really well. I also have 2 OLD MTX T3000 10's in my
truck that are at least 10 years old, and still work fine.

ther has never been or will be a mtx half as good as any polk speaker. i
know.
these kinds of questions show who knows what. any1 say mtx is near as
good as polk doesnt know anything about car audio...lol
