looking for good portable/field recorder

hey all, i'm looking for a good tool to record on location. i need
only one (stereo) input, and i wanna have the quality of digital sound
of 44.1 khz, 16 bit or more...
also it would be cool if i can connect condensator mics, so phantom
power would be cool...
any advice?
