Default authoring and burning SACDs

He makes multi-miked recordings that please even a single-point-purist like

myself. Note also how he's able to suppress the room sound without losing it

altogether.

Anyhow... Dr Barclay asked me about the process of dubbing multi-channel

/analog/ sources to SACD. I know only a little about it, and my initial

Googling didn't produce much that seemed useful.

Basically... He needs to be able to make the necessary DSD files, then burn

DVDs with them to produce playable SACDs. (Yes, I know not all SACD players

will play DVD-R SACDs.)

Could someone point me (if possible) to a single source covering SACD

authoring and burning?

Thanks in advance.

I understand a number of professionals are using the korg DSD recorders with great success. If I were you, go over to PRW and ask in the mastering forum. You'll get a good deal of useful information I am sure.
