Default Low buck figure 8 mics for live drum overheads

I've been kicking around the idea of picking up some for overheads, with
main focus being a deep null (directed towards the floor monitors) and
reasonable sound. They also need to be reasonably rugged - something
that's not going to break the first time the mic stand falls over.

Not exactly low buck, but the last mics I bought were 3 of these:

2 on long slim carbon fiber poles for choir, and one for the lectern.

They seem to work as claimed, but of course the claims are stated pretty
thinly.

In drum applications, I'd be worried about dynamic range, not that I've had
any problems with that, but our applications are very different.
