As I posted, I inherited them. That means I didn't buy them.
Therefore, your guess is not valid. Thanks for your input, though.

His guess remains valid even if it was someone else that bought them. Some
of the time there is a place on a stage for a microphone that is solid,
cheap and not worth stealing.
