Hi Guys,
geezer on second floor where I live asked for help with his birthday present, a Sony USB grammophone, he "couldn't get sound from it". Computer runs windows 7 64 bit and has on board (realtek) sound card. Sony supplies a light version of Sound Forge. Such a package ought to work out of the shrink-wrap, that is why he got it to transfer his records with and he is not happy. Questions: why is the usb-audio from the grammophone some 10 dB clipped when recorded? why no input monitoring? - is this because win7 routes playback from usb in to same usb sound card out? Kind regards Peter Larsen |
