Basically a Stereo 70 in a nicer case. Why reproduce a not very good amplifier that is in any case still very readily available in both original vinatage and several reissue versions? |

Probably because it is a recognized design with tons of aftermarket support,
parts and mods. Just recently saw some guy on eBay selling circuit boards for the Brook 10c. Now that's something I'd really like to see hit the market. At any rate, faithful copies of classic amps will become a necessity as prices of originals climb into the stratosphere. Not to mention the de rigeur reliability issues and scandalously whispered performance shortcomings of the "real deals". Just look at all the "replicars" out there.
