I know Richard, I was at NAB one year this came up, maybe 1998. I
told the FCC rep in that meeting that all he had to do was look at
the sales figures and talk to people in the US about wireless use.
Instead, he solved the problem by retiring.
YEah that doesn't surprise me in the least. Still, the only
figures they're interested in are their official figures,
and those are licenses issued, either to broadcasters, or
other wireless mic users who might not be broadcasters, but
did the licensing thing. Anybody else doesn't count, sold
or not as far as they're concerned.
