If CanDu containment is on a par with US-style containment, the aircraft

Yes....Airplanes are pretty fragile....Look at 9-11. They couldn't even take
out those office buildings until they had burned for half an hour or
so.....I doubt if they would even blacken the outside of a containment
dome.....
