Default E-MU 0202 USB 2.0 Audio Interface and Linux

I am thinking of buying a E-MU 0202 USB 2.0 Audio Interface. Anyone got
one of these running under Linux?

Cheers

I have one, but never even thought about trying it with Linux yet. I have a
dual boot with RH5.2 on it, so I suppose I could give it try and see.

... hold on, let's see what's listed on the ALSA site:

http://www.alsa-project.org/main/ind...-Creative_Labs

"NOT SUPPORTED YET, but Emu have supplied hardware sample and datasheets to
the developer"

It appears that is a developer version available for testing which supports
the basic functions, and several patches for that in the wild.

You might be better off looking at the devices which already have stable
drivers listed at the site above.

Thanks for that Sean. I have no particular craving for that device,
simply one that supports 24/192 and runs under Linux.
