I bought an SACD/CD dual-layer of an artist while attending a concert of the

So they're still pressing these things

Whatever happened to DVD-A? I recall a decade or more ago talk of
all the 24/96 and 24/192 audio formats available on DVD. Were there
any/many releases?

We can author them, and burn them, but I'm not sure there are any players.
Perhaps someone else knows whether there is any commercial player
compatibility with DVD-A ?

I use a Denon DVD-2930 player for SACD, CD and DVD-A play back. I note
that they have current models that can do that too.

Combo players among high end brands, and most prominently right now, the
Oppo 93 and 93SE.
