This seems not altogether a Bad Thing. With one breath you want more security, with the next you complain when attempts at this inconvenience you. "Re-confirming" my email address every three days (and having an email system that works 10% of the tries) does NOT constitute "more security". In my POV it is evidence of an out-of-control system. I bet you're over 60. I'm rapidly approaching that age, and find myself having to be constantly on the alert for curmudgeonly tendencies :-) When you've grown up from the very start of the internet, you are less tollerant of the same old foolishness and fecal materal coming around again and again. IT HAPPENED AGAIN! Looks like it is on a 3-day cycle. I actually used their process to "Deactivate" my account. But it apparently does NOTHING except require you to log in next time you open it. It does NOT delete anything, so everything (content, links, friends, etc.) was completely intact ever after I "Deactivated" it. I have ZERO faith in those people. |
