Then explain this: WHY is this happening only in the last several MONTHS? I've been editing mp3 properties since 2007, going back to XP and (!)-ME, and the song data that I input STUCK! What was there different about those two and the Vista and WMP 11 that I'm using now??? If there weren't anything different, why do you think MS released 2 or 3 or 7 new versions of WMP during that time? WMP is second only to iTunes for doing stupid things that you didn't ask for. And I still haven't got an answer as to why the data is disappearing from songs ON MY MP3 PLAYER. Because you have probably connected it to your computer several times and your MP3 player gets "updated" with whatever mischief happened to your files since the last update. DUMP WMP, fix your files with MP3tag and THEN see what happens. Else, if you want to keep fooling around with WMP and other user-vicious applications, you're on your own. |
