I recorded a girl reading some quotes and her s's came through quite
loudly. How can I fix that. I'm using a presonus studio live 1642 and the included "capture" software. |

Tape a pencil to the front of the microphone. Use different talent. Stick bubble gum on their front teeth. I'm using a presonus studio live 1642 and the included "capture" software. You can always use a de-esser or a frequency-selective compressor, but the real solution is retracking. Didn't you notice it during tracking in the first place? --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. The point I would emphasise is to listen carefully WHILE recording, or at least immediately afterwards, if you're not set up for monitoring. "Fix in the mix" is only for emergency use - try to get it right in the first place. We all break this rule, of course :-) and if she's really excessively sibilant, you're gonna have a problem. What mic did you use? Regards, Ty Ford --Audio Equipment Reviews Audio Production Services Acting and Voiceover Demos http://www.tyford.com Guitar player?:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWaPRHMGhGA |
