Default I need new feet :-)

Question for UK readers: is there a good place in the London/Thames
Valley area to get spare rubber feet for mic stands? I'm going to be
doing some recording in a few weeks at a place that has polished wood
floors, and some of my stands are missing their feet. I've looked at
Maplin but they don't seem to have quite the right thing.

thanks!

Give Richmond Film Services a call on 0208 940 6077 or take a look at
http://www.richmondfilmservices.com/

They can often source lots of stuff that doesn't appear in their catalogue.

After a few days at the NAMM show, I'll be needing more feet, too.

For your problem, I'd suggest a hardware store and a little
improvisation. You may be
able to get the original replacements, but only from the original
manufacturer, though
there may be a size of crutch tip might that fits the K&M (and copies)
of stands with a
folding tripod base.

Thanks for the tips (ha ha ) everyone. As Mike suggested I started
looking for rubber ends for walking sticks/crutches and the like and
discovered a whole world I never knew existed :-) They look like they
will do the job better than the originals.

cheers,
