Default Question for Southern California members

Back in the early 1990's there was the Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase
where
record company people would come and listen to a few seconds of a few dozen
songs, and either pick it up or not. Does this organization still exist?

Do they have a website? Listed in the phone book?

I remember that. They used to hold these session on La Brea between Hollywood
and Sunset, right?

Across the street from Rusk recorders (and that hourly rate
hotel)?

I think they had 'em at the Improv too.

I remember going to one (a non performance,"cassette
roulette") on Sunset west of Gardener back in the late
eighties. They must've moved around a lot between various clubs.

I did a couple of cassette roulette listenings in the early '90's.
