just looked them up- looks like a contender. of course the proof will
be how do they sound in the real world, but they're at the right price
point for an affordable "serious" monitor. will you get to do a true
review of them? i look forward to your reviews (although i'm not in
the market for any more gear right now i hope!). you are the reason i
got the schoeps, but i'm so glad i have a pair, especially at the
price i paid (which i thought was high at the time) since they're so
much higher now!

Sadly for the USA, I lucked out on that one, but I feel the same as you about
my investment.

Dunno yet if I'll hear the Opals here, but hope to. I think they are supposed
to ship sometime in September.
