I'd like something that Mastering guys would use but I'm not interested in spending 10,000. Any ideas? I've got a converter that I'm happy with... Just looking for the I/O card & software... I'd love to use PT as the software because I know it... Have you tried the plug in from Silverspike -Tape-It? I use version 1 free when I just want to mixdown a band practice. I mean how many times do you record a 4 hour band practice and someone wants to hear it afterwards and maybe take home a CD. Put that plug as the last one in the session and you have a 2 track ready to burn when you stop recording. Then if someone wants to hear a song or two and maybe mix on it while you play it records that too. And it does not go thru any conversion, just records the PT digital stream at the end of the master. I love it. peace dawg |
