I just inherited 2 of these mics. Does anybody have an opnion on what

The site only shows the AT 8010. I assume that is a newer model. Mine doesn't have the roll-off. It's an XLRM cable. Can I can get a cable that will allow it to be plugged into an XLR input on a typical (Mackie) mixer? Would that be a XLRF to XLRM ? They reccomend it for cymbals. I'll have to try that. They are good for anything you'd use an omni for. It's a lot easier to make a good cheap omni than a good cheap cardioid.
