Yeah, but in some cases you're talking penny wise and pound foolish. Unless you know what shape the unit is in you could be talking about serious restoration work. Noisy pots and faders, caps needing replacement, etc. Plus, you still have some pretty strong requirements for $500. I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly improbable. Particularly in getting good mic pres, musical EQ and good routing. I wasn't kidding when I said I had to spend some serious good bucks for something like you're describing. the subject of thread reads "around $500," meaning that i'd like to see offers up to around $800 or so, but to me $500 would be an optimal deal. also i listed preferred features, not required. |
