Default SRC & Jitter requirements

Can someone explain me the requirements from implementing a sample
rate conversion - what distortion I should remove?
Same goes for Jitter, what is the I2S jitter I can allow my system to
output to a DAC or PWM amp?
Thanks, Uri.

Why do sample rate conversion?

Most modern DACs remove most of the jitter at their inputs.

If you keep jitter down to the point where all sidebands due to jitter are
below 100 dB, you are very safe.
