What are my options on getting a software or hardware device that has great electronic drum loops/sounds? I have a Boss DR-770 drum machine and an Alesis QS8 synth (that incorporates the Alesis Dm5) but these seem to lack in electronic drum sounds. I know little about hip hop, but there's an 808 and "9 time" patch on a QS-8 that have been identified to me as critical hip-hop drum patches. Look in the 120 range. Perhaps there's a VST software plug-in that I can look into to using with my recording software? Greg -- Les Cargill I'm aware of these but these are about it on the QS. I need MORE drum machine sounds. It seems that the QS and my Boss DR-770 skimp on such sounds. I don't know much about hip hop either by the way, but I'm looking to incorporate such sounds into a jazz project. |
