Should it be located in free air or would it matter if it was adjacent to a wall? I recal reading that FM radio is occluded by buildings and hills out in the "real world" so I'm assuming that this little consumer antenna should be in free air to allow the radio waves to best propagate in my home. I ask because the antenna is wire so it would be easiest to tape it to the wall. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. Walls reduce the signal somewhat, probably mostly to the extent that they have wires and other metal that reflect the radio waves. The best thing is to try it, and move it around if it doesn't work well. -- Regards from Virginia Beach, Earl Kiosterud www.smokeylake.com |
