The stuff is somewhat toxic, so you may wish to leave the cable permanently
connected. If that doesn't fix it, there is a solder joint problem in the
card. I would suggest factory service, because if you take it apart and
reassemble it, it may get stuck in the slot.

Stuff is not toxic. 100% liquid is actually very safe. If you spray
it has a solvent, depending on which version, just be careful as you
would any spray.
I've been using this stuff for 30 years - it works amazingly well.
