Default Inexpensive stereo recorder?

P.S. the H4 also has another useful featu multitracking. I can play
duets, trios and quartets with myself on different tracks and mix them
all together. When in multitracking mode you can record any track
while listening to any combination of others and it even has a
metronome that it will play just in your headphones that won't come
out in the recording. I find it incredibly useful.

There's an even cheaper model from Zoom now, the H-2. It doesn't have
multitracking, but it does have a variety of mic pattern options. I
think it runs about $200 at most online stores.
