Over the winter I auditioned the similar B&W DM604 S3 ($1,500/pr), and
I almost bought them. The DM603 is similar, and I think you'll be very
happy with them.

For what it's worth, I dug deep (by my standards) and bought the new
703 ($3,000/pr). Absolutely wonderful speaker; has changed my simple
life.
