My first inclination is to find a white subwoofer/satellite system and
mount the sats on the walls and hide the sub. I first thought of Bose AM 5 III, but they have been dumped on in reviews. But,it is real hard to uncover one because the only things that seem to be out there are 5.1 and 6.1 Home Theater setups. You need "unobtrusive". Reviews only serve as a guide and are biased by preference and personal likes and dislikes. Bose systems seem to be on demo nearly everywhere. Go listen to them. If they fulfill your requirements, I know what I would do, BUY THEM. I also happen to like their sound! (I own "obtrusive" speakers, in a dedicated listening room, since I'm fortunate having space in my house AND that reviewers usually think highly of them :-)) Being proud of my listening room, I want them to dominate it, oak trimmed black-fabric panels set 6 feet from the rear and side walls.Subject: Unobtrusive, high quality speakers for stereo only? |
