I recently mounted a Benz Glider that I had in storage onto a new Morch UP-4
"red" armtube with silver wiring. I had formerly used this cartridge on the
same arm with a "yellow" silver wired arm tube a few years ago. Some
observations: The bass seemed much deeper and more pronounced than I remembered
it with the yellow arm tube. It also seemed to image better than I remeber it
and seems a little clearer in the midrange and treble. It definitely had more
bass than the Sumiko Talisman S cartridge I was using on the yellow tube. I
would like to know if anyone
has heard the Glider on these two different arm tubes on a Morch UP-4 arm and
noticed a difference and also if anyone has compared the Glider to the Talisman
S. By the way this is the original Glider with the elliptical stylus not the
newer model.
