Hi Everyone,
Has anybody out there ever dealt with this internal speaker cable? All of the Van Den Hul wire is supposed to be good stuff, but, with only 7 strands, it seems grossly underweight, even for a tweeter. I'm considering replacing it in a complete revision of a Tannoy Turnberry HE I'm doing for a customer. Just want to know if I may be making a mistake before I do. Wessel |

If there ever was a cable where you could hear a difference, this is it. It may not be possible to make a cable that sounds better than zip-cord, but it certainly is possible to make one that sounds worse. Regards, Tip |

Thanks for your response and opinion, Tip. Although I cannot confidently
interpret your answer. I believe you are saying that you could easily hear the difference and it did not sound so good? "Tip" wrote in message news:jR_Ib.252371$_M.1148663@attbi_s54... Does "internal" also include the several feet of wire in the xover?

Thanks for your response and opinion, Tip. Although I cannot confidently
interpret your answer. I believe you are saying that you could easily hear the difference and it did not sound so good? Yes, sorry for the confusion. I also should have mentioned that when I heard them they were being used for speaker cables, not internal wiring. Perhaps they would sound better in the short lengths used for internal wiring with the lower power requirements for separate drivers. Try them and find out. Regards, Tip |

Well yes, then there are those series inductors in any lowpass filter that
would intuitively seem screw everything up that you hoped to spare with quality wire. But still, like with saving money; every little bit helps. wrote in message news:enEJb.117611$VB2.308310@attbi_s51... Does "internal" also include the several feet of wire in the xover? |

Thanks. I suppose that if this wire was used in long lengths that the DC
resistance would be high enough to not make it worth the money in the end. Wessel "Tip" wrote in message ... Thanks for your response and opinion, Tip.
