Default Eventide Ultraharmonizer optical encoder, anyone?

Who makes it and what is the part number? Odds are you're going to have
to make a standard production Cherry or HP one fit in its place.

The part is manufactured by Sharp and its partnumber is GPIAI6R ('I' may
be '1' as well).
Yes, propably there is some creative engineering needed, or then I just
have to get used
to those push buttons
