Default DSD to PCM

It's true. NPC makes chips to do this, with output frequency settable
between 352.8kHz down to 44.1kHz. I don't know any brands or type numbers,
but be on the lookout for the presence of the SM5819AF or SM5816AF. If the
player suppors any kind of signal processing (downmix or bass rerouting),
it's certainly bingo.

Hi Gang:
It is my understanding that some less expensive SACD players
convert DSD to PCM and the DSD is not available at the output.
Is this true ? If so, anyone have a list of such players.
