Ok. Here is the story with these mics. These were originally purchased
by producer John Kurzweg, (the producer for Creed, Puddle Of Mudd,
etc.) and as John described it to me, they were assembled and matched
by Skipper Wise at Blue Microphones especially for John. The serial
numbers are #99 & #100. I bought these mics from John after he moved
his studio from Florida to New Mexico several years back, so this time
period is well before the current controvery over Blue parts
sourcing / assembly location / design dispute, etc. I can verify all
of this information regarding the provenance of these microphones.
This pair has less than 50 hours of total use in my possession, and
they have been meticulously maintained and stored. They are in "as-
new" condition.

I know that there is a lot of back and forth regarding the sound
quality of microphones, but IMHO these are really wonderful
microphones and I find them to have an incredible presence and warmth.
The only reason for selling them is to help fund a IZ Systems RADAR
purchase. Otherwise I would definitely keep these mics. The mics come
with all the original parts (ATA roadcase, power supply, cabling,
shockmount). These mics have never been apart and have always been
stored together to insure their consistency as a matched pair. I only
had one mic to photograph as my camera lost power after the first
shot. Rest assured that you are getting TWO microhpones with all of
the accessories. Asking $3200 obo for the pair.
