I want opinions on high-end preamps under $400, good SACD Players
under $400 and good AV receivers under $1000. Thanks for your

Yes, aol me too. /aol I would like ideas on a 5.1 + capable
preamp/tuner, or preamp and a tuner both with remotes.

As for the disk player, I've been looking at the Pioneer Elite DVD
players and have had JoLida recommended and know a guy that sells them,
but I want a true multiformat and I'm not sure if I want to deal with
tubes.

Have you looked at anything as of yet? Because I'm finding it hard to
find a good player that plays DVD-A and SACD without being mega-bucks.

Sony has many of them, I have a NS90V which works fine in my H/T system.
