Default Want portable MP3 based boombox

Id like a robust and portable MP3 based boombox

Something I can take outside on the patio and it has
enough power to sound reasonably good. Something to
load up MP3 files in

Such a thing exist?

I have my iPod plugged into one of these.
It actually sounds remarkably good for something of that size...

You have bigger problems if you can't follow that website link and
read the brochures for yourself. Maybe you can ask your caretaker to read
it for you.

I would think 4lbs it light enough with its included carrying case suitable for
the task of moving it about and the power supply of AC or batteries to be flexible
enough, but if you plan on going jogging or scuba diving with it, your idea of
portability may differ.

You can grab it and carry it with one hand, if that is what you
mean by "portable". It runs on its own internal batteries, also.

Perhaps if you define what YOU mean by "portable" we can
help you.

It is heavier than it looks. It will break your toe if dropped from 3 ft.
OTOH, I wouldn't use it in the rain. (But I wouldn't use my iPod in
the rain, either.) It comes with a soft case/backpack.
