Does anyone do a PCI surround sound card decoding DTS, Dolby etc into
digital outputs ie SPDIF? I'm looking for a N.1 decoder with N+1 SPDIF channels. Dirk |

IMO it is the future. -- Dirk http://www.onetribe.me.uk - The UK's only occult talk show Presented by Dirk Bruere and Marc Power on ResonanceFM 104.4 http://www.resonancefm.com |

I'm wondering if it is a licensing issue. IOW, maybe Dolby won't license their technology in circuits with an external digital output. |

In which case it will have to be DAC/ADC in the middle. Still, that's possible to do at around 120dB s/n with good design. -- Dirk http://www.onetribe.me.uk - The UK's only occult talk show Presented by Dirk Bruere and Marc Power on ResonanceFM 104.4 http://www.resonancefm.com |
