Default Adcom GFA-555 II v. Acurus A250

These are alleged to be good candidates for driving a pair of Thiel CS
3.5 and are priced similarly in the marketplace. They are both "low
end" on the audiophile spectrum, I recognize that, and not what the
speaker designer had in mind for mating with these monsters, but this
is a budget system. Any impressions one versus the other?

Not sure how far your budget stretches, but I drive my 3.5's with Outlaw
M200 (or 2200) Monoblocks (200-300wpc). They cost only $325 each new, or
about $275 each used. Ton of power, smooth, highly transparent. Makes the
Thiels response "effortless".
