Default Which part to upgrade first ?

So the first real investment is in a room
not speakers
it's a hell of a lot easier to change speakers than to change a room no?

In my time as an audio installer, I came across many listening rooms.
You wouldn't believe what some people do with their $50.000 + systems
sometimes.
Martin Logans flat against the wall, a hard stone floor, no carpets or
curtains, mirrors behind speakers.................
Those were the same people that were fanatical about upgrading to the
newest MIT cable or Isocoins the moment they read about it.

Placement and acoustics are the things where one can gain the most.
Most people simply don't realize this.
